What They Think #1: Back to School

*So, you guys probably hate me now? I am SO sorry I didn’t get this post up last Thursday. I was SUPER busy that day, plus my camera died on me and I don’t have any batteries. It’s still dead, so this post is gonna be picture-less. Sorry! :)*

So you guys were probably looking forward to a photoshoot? Well, sorry to let you down, but I thought of something that I think you’ll like better. I’ll post this new ‘series’ about once a month, or whenever I have time. I’ll pick a topic, and I’ll let my dolls say what they think of it. Comment below if you want me to continue it! :) this month’s topic is ‘Back to School’. Enjoy!

Lindsey: “I’m just really glad school is in the winter, not summer, because summer is when the weather is really nice and you want to garden, not sit in a classroom doing school work. Winter is still nice, but you can’t plant things then.”

Kirsten: “I like school, but it’s not my favorite. I really don’t like shopping, so B2S shopping is super boring. Then I also don’t like it when it’s snowing and I have to go to school.”

Addy: “I don’t really hate school, but I don’t love it either. School is just really annoying when those days come were you either just wanna stay in bed all day cause it’s too cold out, or since it’s snowing you wanna play.”

McKenna: “School gets in the way of my life. Espesially gymnastics.”

Samantha: “I absolutely love going back to school! I love everything about it.”

Violet: “Me and McKenna actually agree on something: school gets in the way of our lives. The only thing I like about it is that I get to go shopping. But even then, I sometimes don’t like it because it’s school supplies shopping, not clothes shopping.”

Kit: “All of my life I’ve hated everything about school. Studying, homework, tests, reading, and writing… I hate all of it. Well, actually, I can’t say I hate everything about school, because I do really like lunch time.”

Saige: “I think school is okay, but it’s not my fav. I mean, I do like art, history, and geography, and I REALLY like school supplies shopping, but other than that I really don’t care for it.”

Ellie: “Oooooo, I LOVE everything about school!! From back to school shopping, math, science, and history, to homework, I LOVE IT!”

Ruthie: “I think school is wonderful. I love my English class, I’ve met lots of new friends, and I love my new teachers.”

Josie: “I am going to a new school this year, and at first, I was very nervous about it, but Samantha helped me through the first day, and it’s been going really well. English class is also my favorite.”

So, whaddaya think of it? Should I do more of these?

 I think this is adorable, but not very historically accurate. Look up on Google to see what Sam’s old bike looked like, and compare it to this one. See the differences? I like it a lot, and I’d love to have a bike for my dolls, but definitely NOT for $115.

Wow, this has some amazing details, and it’s really pretty, but I’m not buying it.

What I Got at the AGP ~ July 2014

Heya peeps! I’m finally getting around to post what I got at the AGP! Yay! lol :P

(*Note: My camera was acting up the day I took these pictures, so sorry if they’re bad quality*)

The first thing I got was Julie’s Birthday dress! I’ve wanted this dress for a long time, and I’m so happy I have it in my collection now! :D

Here’s Addy modeling her blue dress! This dress is SO gorgeous, and Addy looks really pretty in it :)

Next is Isabelle’s Coral sweater! I think it looks really cute on Violet, and it has a lot of mix-n-match potential.

Then I got the exclusive bathing suit!

I also got Julie’s Floral Jumpsuit! I LOVE the 70’s, so I had to get this! It’s so cute!

Then I got the exclusive D.C. t-shirt. I absolutely LOVE this!!

Both Ellie and Kit look adorable in Kit’s Floral Print Dress!!! It’s SO, SO, SO cute! It has to be one of my favorite doll clothing items I own. ;)

And the last thing I got was…

 THE GUITAR SET!!! You guys do not know how long I’ve wanted this! Look forward to seeing lots of photo-stories with Saige and her new guitar :)

Hi everyone, Abigail here (Well, who else would it be?!)! So I have started this new series called ADT (Abigail’s Doll Thoughts) and I got the idea from Marisa! Welcome Home, Ellie and Ruthie!!

Hi everybody, McKenna here! Today I have some BIG news…

two new sisters came to live with us!!!!!!

Everybody was waiting for the new sisters to arrive!

“Does anybody know where Kit is?” I said. “You’d think she’d be out here by now, since her BFF is coming!”

“Hmmm, I don’t know? You know how she always sleeps in late anyways.” Samantha said.

“I don’t think she knows. I didn’t tell her.” Addy said. “Did any of you guys?”

“No.” Everybody replied.

“Well, then,” Addy started to say, “I guess she doesn’t know.”

Just then, the door bell rang! Violet went to get it.

“Hmm, I wonder what the new sisters will be like?!” Violet thought to herself as she walked to the front door. “Hopefully, one will like fash-“

Then, in mid thought, the door bell rang again.

“I’m coming, I’m coming!” Violet said.

When Violet answered the door, someone said to her, “Hi! We really don’t know if we’re at the right place, but we’re looking for The Dazzling Dollies household. Is this the right place?” 

“Yep, it is! You must be Ellie and Ruthie, come in! The rest of the sisters are waiting for you downstairs.”

“Great!” Ruthie replied. “We’re glad we’re at the right place.”

“Guys,” Lindsey said, “I think they’re coming!”

Just then, they all walked in the room, and Violet introduced them saying, “These are our new sisters, Ellie and Ruthie!”

After everybody introduced them selves, we decided to take a group picture. 

Then we talked and got to know each other a little better. I found out that Ellie loves gymnastics, and Samantha learned that Ruthie likes to cook! :D

Then, Saige and I decided to take Ellie and Ruthie to their rooms.

“This is your room, Ellie!” I said to her. “Sorry it’s nothing fancy, we wanted to let you decorate it yourself.”

“Oh, don’t worry about it!” She said back. “It’s fine.”

Meanwhile, Saige was talking to Ruthie.

“OK, so Kit has know idea that you’re even here.” Saige said. “So she’s gonna be really surprised. I’ll leave you guys alone.”

“Kit? Are you awake? It’s me, Ruthie!”

“Huh? Ruthie? What are you talking about?” Kit said in a sleepy voice.

“Oh, Ruthie! What a surprise!”

“What are you doing here? I haven’t seen you in ages! When did you get here?”

“Sit down, then we can catch up.”

“I know! It has been forever. Ruthie said. “I came here with another girl named Ellie, and we’re moving in! I’ll be sharing this room with you.”

“Oh, really?” Kit replied. “I’m so excited!”

“So am I!” Said Ruthie.

 

Then Kit showed Ruthie around their room, and introduced her to Carrot Cake.

It was long day full of excitement, so after we had dinner and talked a little more, everybody went to bed early.

Hello guys! Today, we’re gonna be doing a requested post from Izzy! Hope ya enjoy :D

 So momma dressed me into what she calls “A beautiful pink floral skirt”, but what I call “Uck” (I told her it was way too girly for me, but she didn’t listen), a lace top, and jean jacket. For my hair, I’ve got a lace bow (I don’t care too much about that either) pulling it back. I was excited for the photo-shoot since it was requested, but then on the other hand, it seemed a bit too girly for me. You know, because of all the flowers, lace, and pink. Anyways, in the end I thought the pictures turned out pretty cool and it wasn’t all that bad. 

I love these two pictures. <3

I don’t know what type of flower this is, but they’re really pretty! :)

Kit’s Walk With Pepper

Hiyo! It’s Kit, your most popular writer on this blog. Anyways, today I had a fabulous time with Pepper!

“Oh, Pepper!” I yelled. “Pepper, where are you?”

“Oh! There you are.” I said as Pepper jumped into my arms.

“Wanna go on a walk with me?” I asked as I put his leash on. He barked, so I took that as a ‘Yes’ ;)

As soon as we walked out the door, Pepper ran so fast I let go of the leash.

“Pepper, get back here RIGHT THIS MINUTE. Samantha is gonna kill me when we get home if she finds out that you ran away or something!” I said, in a panic.

No matter how much I yelled, Pepper would not come. I suppose he was smart enough to know that if he did, I would hold the leash again and wouldn’t let him run very far.

Finally, being the fabulous runner that I am, I caught him. Boy, was I relived that he didn’t run away!!

When I got him, I picked him up and said: “Pepper, you’re such a bad boy! Why would you do that to me? Samantha would have been devastated if she found out that you ran away and she wouldn’t see you ever again. She’d also kill me (Not literally, just verbally).

I couldn’t be mad at him for long, though. His eyes are just too sweet and loving :)

After I pet him for awhile, we got up and started walking again. When I caught him, we were on the first huge step. We still had to walk down the second one. Pepper jumped, but my legs are too short to do that, so I had to sit down and wedge my self off.

You see? If only my legs could grow a foot or so, then I could get down easily. (And then shrink back down to dollie-size after. I think it would look pretty weird if they were that long.)

After that, we started to walk again. . .

. . .Until Pepper smelled something in the grass. Whatever it was, he was super interested in it.

“Pepper,” I said, “C’mon’ lets go. We have a lot more walking ahead of us.” Then I tugged on his leash a little. I Didn’t tug too hard, though because I didn’t wanna hurt him.

Then, again, we started walking.

After we turned the corner, I started to get a little hungry, so we decided to head inside.

“Go on, Pepper, inside. It’s lunch time.”

With that, Pepper went inside. I guess he was hungry, too.

When we went inside, I sat down and took his leash off.

“Go on, Pepper,” I said, “You can go now.” Then I took my shoes off, and went to feed Pepper and eat lunch myself. I was starving! :D

Hiyo, everybody! Kit here with some AWESOME news. But before I get started, Violet would like to say something….

Hey, girls! I’m so sorry that I didn’t post my OOTD yesterday. My sisters and I have been super busy. Kit will explain the rest…..

Ok, I’m back. So, as Violet said before, we’ve been super busy. What have we been so busy about??? Well, we had to pack for………………………….

EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that’s right. We are in Europe! Lindsey, Violet, Saige, and I all went to Europe with mom! It’s awesome. Now, Lindsey will tell you the rest (She got to ride in the plane with mom while the rest of us had to be in a stinky suitcase. Lucky her ;) )

Hi, guys!! As Kit said before, we’re in Europe! Serbia is actually where we are mostly at. I’m so happy I got to go! Anyways, now I’ll be telling you how packing went and the plane ride!

Here’s what our suitcase looked like after we were done packing. Violet seriously does not have her priorities straight. She kept packing things she really didn’t need. Um, yes, I did need the things I packed. I needed tons of clothes for my OOTD posts, hair accessories, my bags, etc. Yeah, ok, Violet. What ever you say. 

Here’s all of us in our travel outfits. For some reason, Violet always has to look fashionable. She always has to wear her skirts. Always has has to have her hair nice. And always has to have pretty accessories. The rest of us, though, went with the comfy style. (Yes, we did bring Pepper and Meatloaf with us, they’re gonna be in some of our posts!)

Here’s all of my sisters in the suitcase. I felt kinda bad for them since I got to be free in the plane with mom. They had to stay in that suitcase for a whole week before we even left for our trip, then they would still have to be in there for the whole trip (which was 24 hours). Kit said that she had it the worst since she went in at the bottom of the suitcase under all of the other sisters. While we are on our vacation, we all have to live out of our suitcase. We have to sleep in there, eat in there, and play in there. 

 *NOTE: The camera we used was in the suitcase so we didn’t get to take pictures of the first part of our trip. Sorry!*

So, guess where I’m at now?!?!?!?!? The Switzerland airport! That was where our lay over was, then we’d get on another plane to get to Serbia (That’s where we are mostly at). The first flight was 8 hours long! I had to sit there in my seat for Eight. Straight. Hours. It was pretty boring. Anyways, here’s some pictures of the Switzerland Airport…

When we got off the plane, Mom didn’t have time to get out her camera and take pictures, so I’m just gonna jump forward to the car ride home ;)

Ah, finally in the car. It was such a long flight, I really wanted to get home! I got to sleep a little in the car, though, since it’s a several hour drive from the airport to the place we are staying. It took us even longer to get to where we are staying because there was tons of flooding and detours. We saw people walking in their yards with water above their waist.

So now we are finally settled in and and are having a great time! On Tuesday we plan to post more about where we are :)

Dollie-sized Fun Finds!

Hi yo, everybody! Kit here XD so, in the past couple of days, mom has been shopping for us. Total, she only went to 2 stores (and mom’s grandma went to a yard sale for us), and she got TONS of stuff for us!!! The 2 stores she went to were the dollar store, and Walmart.  So, let me show you what we got:

The first thing we got was this awesome trash can! Mom got it from the dollar store. They had it in other colors like blue and green, but she got red so it would match our kitchen. (By the way, do you notice anything different in the top photo with the trash can?)

The next thing is a new notebook (well, my notebook). Mom said that she got it green and blue stripes because it matched my style, so it’s going to be my new journal.

The next thing is these lamps! Again, mom got them from the dollar store. They’re actually solar powered, so they work!

The next thing is this dress. It’s also from the dollar store. We got another one in purple (Violet used it for her OOTD, if you want to see it, click here) too. This dress is for a baby, but we got it in the smallest size, so it works for dolls too!

The next thing is this suitcase! Mom got it from Walmart.  It can fits tons of stuff in it!

The second to last thing we got was this mirror. It’s from the dollar store too.

And the last thing we got was this chair! Mom’s grandma got it from a yard sale.

Isn’t the design on the back pretty? I love how vintage it looks!!

Hi girls, Violet here!! Today I’m going to be showing you my bedroom, let’s get started…

Here is an overview of my bedroom. Did you notice that everything is pink?!?!

The first thing in my room is my comfy Hello Kitty chair (mom got it from Build-A-Bear Workshop in case you were wondering ;) ).

Here is my nightstand/desk, on it I have my binder and notebook, my American Girl magazine, my sunglasses, nail polish, my water bottle, my computer, a tiara, and some lip balm.

Here is my bed. Mom’s grandma made the bedding for me =)

On my bed I have a Christmas bear, an Angelica doll, and my sweet cat, Penelope!

I just had to show you a closer look at Penny (that’s what we call her for short)! Isn’t she sweet?

That’s the end of my room tour! Now it’s time for Addy, Kit, and Kirsty to show you their room.
